So, of course, developers have created dozens of apps designed to simplify your daily dialing requirements.  Whether you’re looking to set-up quick dial for a single important number or need to keep a roster of contacts within easy reach, these apps will handle the task.

An oldie but goodie, Favorater was one of the original speed dial apps to hit the App Store. The app presents a photo array of your selected contacts for one-touch dialing. Choose an image for each contact from your photo library or take a new pic with the built-in camera. Now, simply tap on a contact’s picture to call them.

Speed Dial+ is another app that enables quick dial functions for your — but this time, there’s a twist. Instead of one-touch calling, you assign a shape to each of your important contacts. Then, when you want to make a call simply draw the shape: a heart for your sweetie, a square for your nerdy neighbor, etc.
